Thaba Eco Hideaway

Dissatisfied Guests Negative: Our arrival was not received after submitting all required documents. Had to wait 30mins for someone to call us back which never happened and on trying to call again our calls were ignored, it was dark and unsafe for 2 women standing waiting for access to the property. Eventually got keys from security. No one prepared us for a 72 stair climb with our luggage travelling from overseas with baggage to carry up 72 steps, no elevator. On arrival there was no coffee, tea, creamer or dishwasher pods. The bathroom mats are stained and dirty. The washing machine did not smell or look clean. On complaining on booking.com under my booking message was not responded to. on our last night someone called to check if we were ok and only then did my complaints get acknowledged and coffee and tea supplied. Very disappointed with the overall stay. It is not a penthouse but the top floor of a townhouse complex.. Personalized pillows in the lounge made me feel like I was not having a guest experience but staying in someone's home. Definitely not worth the money spent have stayed at other guest houses in the area on the balance of my stay which was far nicer, cleaner and organised.
